Introduction:
Mica tape used for electric wire and calbe is made by high grade mica paper. The base material of mica paper isMuscovite or Phlogopite. The raw mica is agglutinated with organic silicone glue on electrical grade non-alkaline fibre glass sheet and PVC film. Then the tape should be baked dried by high temperature and slitted as roll type.This mica tape is normally used for high temperatured resistance fireproof insulation material.
